The field of plastic surgery has long been a field that is dominated by primarily male doctors. This cultural stigma of a male-dominated field is being turned on its head through the work and efforts of Texan plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden. Dr. Jennifer Walden is an American plastic surgeon and operates a private plastic surgery practice in Austin Texas. She has been recognized as being one of the leading plastic surgeons and one of the country’s best beauty surgeons over the last several years.
She was originally born in Austin Texas to a family of individuals who worked in the medical field. Her father was a dentist and her mother with surgical nurse. She went on to obtain her undergraduate degree in the field biology from the University of Texas. After completing her undergraduate degree, she went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She graduated from the medical branch of the University of Texas with honors. After completing her medical degree, she continued her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and eventually obtained a fellowship in the aesthetic surgery Center at the Manhattan I hear and throat hospital. After completing her fellowship at the hospital, she continued to work in the state of New York for a period of around 7 ½ years. During this time she took part in several clinical trials of plastic surgery technology that eventually resulted in the implementation of silicone breast implants.
She eventually returned to Austin Texas in 2001 after giving birth to her two sons. Upon returning to Austin Texas, she opened up her own private practice. At this private practice, he has been recognized as one of the best plastic surgeons in America. Her private practice is known for its use of advanced technologies that help to provide patients a way to visualize surgeries before they are done.
