The Real Estate in Ohio is having the best year since 2005 amidst low supply claims-Tammy Mazzocco

If you have been following real estate trends, then you know that this year has been one of the worst in the history of the country especially because everything seemed to go downhill in most states. Well, Ohio just beat the odds and concluded one of the busiest years since 2005. The sales of homes in the state were up 7.5% as compared to the same period of time in 2015. A report from the society of realtors in North East Ohio stated that their sales rose by up to 8 percent and that this was one of the best years in the real estate history of the state.

A realtor in the Cincinnati area, Pete Kopf, stated on ideamensch.com that the state had experienced record sales and that both the sales and average house prices had gone up in that period of time. In late 2015, the price of a home in Ohio was 4.8percent lower on average than it was last year. The National Association of Realtors stated that the main concern they were facing regarding the Ohio area was the lack of supply for the expanding market. The median price of homes in the rest of the nation was more than $200,000 which was a 4 percent rise from the year before that.
